AT PHT, OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO HELP OUR ATHLETES TO ULTIMATELY BECOME BETTER HOCKEY PLAYERS. OUR PROCESS  TAKES EACH PLAYER, GROUP, OR TEAM THROUGH SYSTEMIZED PROGRESSIONS THAT INCLUDE HOCKEY SPECIFIC SKILL WORK SUCH AS SHOOTING, STICKHANDLING, PASSING, AND GAME SITUATIONAL DRILLS. WITH THE SPORT OF HOCKEY ONLY GETTING FASTER AND MORE SKILLED AS THE GAME EVOLVES, THIS REQUIRES A HIGHER LEVEL OF ATHLETICISM. DEVELOPING A PLAYERS SPEED, POWER, STRENGTH, MOBILITY, AND CONDITIONING IS A CRUCIAL COMPONENT THAT GIVES OUR PLAYERS THE EDGE THEY NEED TO HAVE A LEG UP ON THEIR COMPETITION.

FINDING A TRAINING ENVIRONMENT THAT IS GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO DEVELOP AS AN ATHLETE AND AS A PERSON IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR TRAINING PROCESS. TEACHING OUR PLAYERS TO SET SPECIFIC GOALS, UNDERSTANDING WHY THEY WANT TO ACHIEVE THOSE GOALS, AND CREATING A PLAN THAT CAN BE ASSESSED AND REFINED TO ENSURE PROGRESS IS MADE IS A PRIORITY FOR US AT PHT. WE KNOW THAT 99% OF OUR PLAYERS WILL NOT BECOME PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES AND WE WANT TO PLAY A ROLE IN DEVELOPING THE SKILLS REQUIRED TO SUCCEED IN ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE. NOT JUST IN HERE OR OUT ON THE ICE, BBUT OUT IN THE REAL WORLD.
