KYLE HAS A PASSION FOR DEVELOPING HOCKEY PLAYERS ON AND OFF THE ICE. HIS MISSION IS TO GIVE BACK TO THE GAME IN EVERY WAS POSSIBLE. KYLE STRIVES TO EDUCATE, MOTIVATE, AND ENCOURAGE THE NEXT GENERATION OF HOCKEY PLAYERS TO BECOME GREAT PEOPLE LATER ON IN LIFE. KYLE HAS BEEN ACTIVE IN TRAINING EVEN BEFORE JOINING PHT BY COACHING WITH THE DETROIT RED WINGS AT THEIR YOUTH CAMPS EACH SUMMER. KYLE IS CURRENTLY A STUDENT ATHLETE ATTENDING ROCHESTER UNIVERSITY WORKING TOWARDS A DEGREE IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT.

 

KYLE BEGAN PLAYING HOCKEY AT THE AGE OF 4 IN ST. CLAIR SHORES. GROWING UP HE PLAYED FOR SEVERAL LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING THE MICHIGAN ICE HAWKS, MICHIGAN TRAVELERS, MT. CLEMENS WOLVES, AND THE TROY STING. AFTER PLAYING ONE SEASON OF HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY FOR SCS UNITED, KYLE PLAYED TWO SEASONS IN THE USPHL FOR THE MOTOR CITY HAWKS. THE HAWKS WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT IN BOTH SEASONS. IN THE 2018-2019 SEASON, KYLE FINISHED WITH 63 POINTS, GOOD ENOUGH FOR A TOP 5 FINISH IN SCORING ACROSS THE ENTIRE LEAGUE IN POINTS.

KYLE KNOWS THAT WITH HIS EXCEPTIONAL WORK ETHIC HE IS ABLE TO BE AN ACTIVE ROLE MODEL FOR ANY PLAYERS HE COMES INTO CONTACT WITH. PLACING AN EMPHASIS ON ATTITUDE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KYLE BECAUSE HE UNDERSTANDS THE AMOUNT OF IMPACT THAT IT HAS ON OTHER ASPECTS OF LIFE AND IN THE MENTAL SIDE OF SPORTS/ATHLETICS.
